✅ Please note: The Alpha App is for Alpha Guests and is separate from the MyAlpha platform for Alpha Teams. There is no Team Training on the Alpha App for Guests. Please log in to MyAlpha for Team info.
🔎 For Alpha Leaders to find the Course ID
The Alpha App is only available for the Alpha Film Series (not youth) and for course videos in English and Spanish. If you have a registered Alpha course, here are the steps to find your unique Alpha App Course ID:
Please log in to MyAlpha and click on the "What's Next" tab.
Click on the button "Share app with guests."
A window will pop up with your Course ID (eg. ca-12345).
🔎 For Alpha Leaders to find the QR Code
Please log in to MyAlpha and click on the "What's Next" tab.
Click on the button "Share app with guests" and a window will pop up.
Click on the button "Download QR Code Flyer" (this PDF will either open or save to your computer depending on your settings).
Print the QR Code Flyer PDF.
Page 1 is instructions for the Alpha Leader.
Page 2 is for your guests and includes the QR Code.
✅ We recommend that you print Page 2 with the QR Code and put a copy on each table for your guests to scan with their phones. And/or you can email the Course ID and QR Code to each of your guests.
📱 For Guests to use the Alpha App
Download the app to your mobile device from the iOS App Store or the Android Play Store.
Ask your Alpha Leader for the unique Alpha Course ID or the QR code.
Scan the QR Code or type in the Course ID.
(Don't forget the "CA" before the 5 numbers. eg. ca-12345).That's it! You're in.
✅ Week 1 resources are always unlocked for guests ... even without the Course ID and even before Week 1 starts. This gives guests a preview of what's available in the Alpha app (video, reflection questions, bonus topic-related content, etc.).
✅ Sessions will be available to guests for 30 days after the Alpha course ends. After that, guests can still see the Explore section (related videos, booklets, podcasts, etc.).
📣 What is included in the Alpha App?
The Alpha app was created for guests to enrich their faith journey while part of an Alpha group. Guests can access the resources AFTER each Alpha session (except for Week 1, which is always accessible).
For each session, guests can access:
the Alpha video from the last group session
the Guest Guide notes with Bible verses and quotes
the discussion questions
space to add personal reflections
topic-related content, including Alpha stories, short video clips, podcast links
Searching Issues booklets
and more!
✅ Alpha leaders don't need to send the video link to guests who miss a session. It's all there in the Alpha app!
