What are the differences between the video series?

There are three main video series as listed below. For information about Alpha in different languages or Alpha for ESOL, please scroll below.

Alpha videos in English

Alpha for Youth 🚀 (AYS)	Alpha Film Series (AFS):	Alpha with Nicky Series (ANG):
For students 13 to 18 years old 10 videos, approx 20 minutes each 8 weeks long (2 Alpha Day videos) Hosts: 8 hosts from Canada, Australia, the UK and the USA Discussion time is throughout the video (questions are on the video screen) Click here for more info	For young adults & adults 15 videos, approx 30 minutes each 11 weeks long (4 Alpha weekend videos) Hosts: Toby Flint, Gemma Hunt, Nicky Gumbel Stories from scientists, professors, athletes, musicians, world leaders Discussion time is at the end of the video Click here for more info	For seniors 15 videos, approx 30 minutes each 11 weeks long (4 Alpha weekend videos) Host: Nicky Gumbel Speaker-style format, Nicky's personal stories, live audience Discussion time is at the end of the video Click here for more info
The Alpha Youth Series "Refresh" was launched in 2022 and will be discontinued in 2025.	The Alpha Film Series with discussion, 2021 (AFS-D) features the same video content except the discussion questions are throughout the video (not at the end) with new questions on the screen.	The Alpha with Nicky Gumbel series was filmed in 2015 in front of a live audience. It is popular with seniors and multicultural audiences.
