Where can I find Alpha for ESOL?

We no longer provide material for Alpha for English Speakers of Other Languages (or ELL: English Language Learners) because the materials were last updated 14 years ago. The real-life examples and references to world events are no longer accurate (in our ever-changing world!) and the links to other websites no longer work.

Here are a few alternatives you can consider:

1. Use the Alpha videos with subtitles

We provide Alpha videos with 60+ subtitles and you could create your own vocabulary sheets and games, and use the discussion questions we provide.

2. Use the Alpha scripts.

Another option is to use the Alpha scripts that are provided after you register your Alpha course. The scripts have colour-coded sections to indicate which sections can be personalized with the speaker's stories and which sections must stay true to the Alpha brand.

3. Customize the old ESOL templates.

If you’re willing to do a bit of creative customizing, you can use the old templates and update them as you wish. Copy and paste each session into an AI platform to generate a vocabulary list and an English-language learning game based on the script.
