The new Alpha Youth Companion App for leaders makes preparing for each Alpha session simple, convenient, and easy to fit into your week. You will receive the weekly Alpha Briefing Videos, session themes, and discussion questions all in one place—exactly when you want them!
1. Download the AYS Leaders App.
If you’re part of an Alpha Team, you’ll receive a QR code to download the AYS Leaders App. You can also download the app using the phone number and passcode provided to you.
📲 2. Opt in to weekly text messages.
After signing up, you’ll receive an initial text message asking you to confirm that you’d like to receive weekly briefing messages. Reply YES to opt in.
These weekly texts will provide easy access to everything you need to prepare for your upcoming Alpha session.
📆 3. Choose when to receive the weekly briefing.
You can customize the day and time you receive your weekly briefing text.
For example, you may want to receive it 3 days before your Alpha session so you have time to watch the video and prepare for the discussion. You can adjust your delivery day and time whenever needed.
🏒 4. Gear Up!
When your weekly text arrives, simply click the link in the message. The URL will include "my.storypath" — this is legit!
The link will take you to your weekly briefing, including:
The weekly briefing video
The session theme
All the discussion questions
Note: To download the Alpha video for each week, please log into MyAlpha: app.alpha.org/ca and choose the HD or SD format you need.
