Explore life, faith and meaning together.

Alpha is a multi-week course that creates a space—online or in person—where people come and discuss life’s big questions in a friendly, open and informal environment. Alpha for Youth is for those 13-17 and all other groups are for 18+.

What is Alpha?

We believe that everyone has the right to freedom of thought. At Alpha, you have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share your point of view.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, run all around the world, but generally, they have three key things in common: connection, content, and conversation.

What does an Alpha Session look like?

Connection

At each 2-2.5 hour session, guests enjoy a time of getting to know each other, usually over a free meal or snacks.

Content

Each week, there's a new video on a topic that's central to the Christian faith. The videos explore the big issues of life and faith and unpack the basics of Christian belief, addressing questions like “Who is Jesus?,” “Why and how do I pray?” and “How does God guide us?”

Conversation

Participants gather into pre-arranged small groups with a trained facilitator to discuss the topic in an environment where each person is free to ask or say whatever they wish.
